Some people – like my sister – can live life at 150 miles an hour without break and still be a fully functional, energetic human being. Other people can only go for so long until they need a day (or a few days) to pamper themselves, catch up on beauty sleep, and do nothing but eat, sleep and watch movies in bed – or that might just be me personally.
My favorite thing to do on my do-nothing days is to indulge in a lighthearted, old-fashioned Bond flick. Most recently, I watched GoldenEye with Pierce Brosnan as James Bond – it was the first Bond flick of the 90’s, so it was entertaining to see all the “new” special effects that were used to produce the movie. It was also fun watching Sean Bean play the villain because I’ve only seen him as Ned Stark – the innocent, honorable do-gooder in HBO’s Game of Thrones. I love how the classic 007 films are saturated with scenes with comedic relief, and have a deficiency of torturous scenes – think Daniel Craig sitting in the chair with the bottom cut out… absolutely brutal and way too intense. Who even comes up with those things!?
